SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK
Ray Bradbury wrote "The Pedestrian" because he was describing the night and how nobody really walks outside anymore. He is also letting us know how the police reacted when they saw him just walking around to no real location and just walking for walking. What happened to him contributed to the plot of the story because it pretty much explains reality in how when you are walking around at night, it becomes very suspicious to the police because they think you are going to break a law, or you are going to meet up with someone.
